🦁Here is the winner of the Shipshape Award- Theo Biddle sponsored by Castleford and Pontefract District Lions Club in Lions District 105N.
Theo will experience a week long voyage on a Tall ship that is crewed by a team of able bodied and disabled people working together to build confidence and to fulfil their potential. The award was presented by PID Lion Phil Nathan and Lion Heidi Nathan.
All of us who had the pleasure of meeting Theo know that he will make the most this opportunity. Congratulations! #youngambassadors #inspirational #tallships #LionsGetInvolvedOn Saturday morning the business meeting began with the flag ceremony, lead by the 295 Witham and Rivenhall Squadron ATC Air Force Cadets, followed by the official opening by Cllr Nick Cope, Mayor of Colchester. After a great beginning, Sargent at Arms Lioness Jeannette Morgan from Pontefract Lioness Club kept us on time and under control while MD105 Chairman Lioness Sandie Briault from Witham and District Lioness Club chaired the Conference. There was the nomination and election of Lioness Amanda Cale from Dursley Lioness Club as the new MD105 Deputy Chairman followed by debate on several resolutions including and emergency resolution on the future of Lioness Clubs.
