As MD Deputy Chairman, Lioness June Mills has two positions

I am proud to serve the Lionesses as your deputy MD Chairman and my role this year is Way Forward and Membership.  I am very passionate about Lionesses and I am always looking for that opportunity to help other people.  I have a reputation for collecting everything if it can help someone else.

Way Forward Chairman

The Way Forward Committee are interested Lionesses, who meet to try to move the movement forward.

My aim is to support Lioness Pam with the completion of the projects she was involved with last year and to organise some Way Forward meetings at MD Headquarters in Birmingham where ideas for future projects can be discussed. Any Lioness is invited to attend. If you have any ideas, please come along, email or phone (Details in the directory) I would love to hear from you. I shall be contacting clubs in due course with possible meeting dates.

Lioness Awareness Week in 2011 will run from 18 – 23 April. Please let Pam know of any events you are organising for this special week.

Membership Officer

My philosophy on membership is firstly to make sure we look after and retain our current members. New members are often introduced by current members, a happy and vibrant club will often encourage others to want to find out more about Lionesses and want to get involved.

I am looking forward to visiting clubs for Charters and Anniversary Celebrations and social and fundraising activities so that I can meet our members. This allows me to listen to ideas and suggestions from all Lionesses.
